I spent almost three years as Editor-in-Chief of The Catalyst, The Independent Student Newspaper of Colorado College. It looked like this before I got there and like this when I left. I did the redesign with help from The Brand Union in New York.
Most of my work was editorial and during my time at The Catalyst I brought credibility to the paper through more extensive reporting and more thoughtful editing. We doubled circulation, content, the number of students involved, and, of course, income. I wrote as frequently as time allowed and below are some samples.
